The firmware in the plc is v2.2 as well?

Did you compile all and download just the hardware configuration?

Did you perform a factory reset?

Does the plc part # match the part # (exactly) as the project configuration?

When you use the online access tool in the project tree (at the bottom), can you find the plc and look at the diagnostic buffer? See anything of interest, possibly related to any of the above questions or prior replies?
